The ISO Consulting Forum is a professional community for management systems consultants, auditors and advisors. It began across Australia and New Zealand and is now opening worldwide. It is supported by AssureUp Pty Ltd. Membership is free, and the Forum is not a sales channel.

The Forum is one worldwide community. Every member belongs to it, and once a quarter all chapters meet for a combined multi country session.
Each country runs its own monthly session, led by a Country Lead. Chapters form from the ground up, when a country has enough active members and someone to lead them.
Until your country has its own chapter, you join the global session. The moment a chapter forms, your sessions move to it.
Everyone starts as a member and can grow into leadership. Five roles, one clear path.

Entry
New to the field or moving into it. Attends to learn and can be matched with a mentor.

Core
A practising consultant, auditor or advisor. Attends sessions, shares experience, votes on topics.

Support
Supports the Country Lead, helps run sessions, welcomes new members, and files the session report. One or more per chapter.

Leadership
Leads one chapter. Recruits members, plans the monthly topic, hosts the session. One per country.

Oversight
Oversees the whole Forum and the quarterly multi country sessions. Currently Dilawar Laghari, the Forum founder.
One hour, monthly, online, topic based and moderated. The tone stays positive, collaborative and solution oriented.
Members vote on the next topic and come with a few thoughts ready.
New members introduced, the topic set up by the moderator.
Every member gets the floor to share perspective and experience.
The moderator draws the threads together into clear takeaways.
A short report goes to the Leadership channel, and the next topic poll opens.
For Country Leads and Coordinators. Sessions run inside your chapter on Microsoft Teams.
Pick a date and time, at least one hour, and share the schedule in your channel.
Send a reminder in your channel in case new members have joined.
At the start, everyone in your group can join, share their screen, and take part.
After each session, a one page report is posted in the Leadership channel. The Country Coordinator files it, or the Country Lead if the Coordinator was absent.

You do not need a Microsoft account or a paid subscription. A free Microsoft login is linked to your email automatically along the way.
Register on the official form.
We review your registration.
Once approved, we add you to the Forum on Microsoft Teams.

You receive an email titled "You have been added as a guest to ISO Consulting Forum in Microsoft Teams." Open it and click the button. It opens in your browser.

The browser sends a verification code to your email. Wait about a minute, then copy the code and paste it into the browser.

When asked to accept permissions, click Accept.

If a pop up offers to open the desktop app, cancel it and choose "Use the web app instead." If you already use the Teams desktop app, continue there.

The page redirects a few times and signs you in, showing "We are setting things up for you."

When Teams opens, close the "Get to know Teams" pop up. You do not need to scan the QR code.

On the left you will see the ISO Consulting Forum team with a General channel. If you have a Coordinator or Lead role, you will also see a Leadership channel.
Members work to a professional standard, modelled on ISO 20700, the international guideline for management consultancy services.
